Tammy is the farmer who owns the Crystal Blue Texel Flock. Living in Stromness, Orkney, the flock are very happy with an owner who cares and knows them individually. Every one has a name and Tammy can name them all on sight even without looking at their ear tags!

A regular participant at the Dounby show Tammy has some beautiful looking sheep who grow some very nice wool

I had the luck of meeting the sheep during their 2026 shearing routine and even had the chance to pet some of them, they were very friendly and their fleeces were very fine

Some of the fleece has been sent to the mill for a trial for being a spun wool for 2027/2028
