These cuties belong to farmers Toni (a retired social worker and NHS nurse) and her husband Marty from Marwick, Orkney
Toni and Marty breed Valais Blacknose Sheep and also keep a small flock of Kerry Hill Sheep.
The Valais Blacknose Sheep are the growers of the beautiful white curls that adorn some of my hand woven wool rugs. I hope to trial the Kerry Hill Fleece in 2026.

Valais Black Nose Fleece is often overlooked but we have found a great purpose for it. Peg loom hand woven rugs show off those wild curls and the contrasting black within the white fleece.
